Five minutes until the bell that signaled the end of school rang. Kenji stood in the parking lot of the highschool, leaned casually up against his black car, and waited for the bell's toll. A few minutes after the bell's signal, Akane would be walking right up the pathway leading here to get to her car. Kenji smiled to himself- this had to be the most foolish thing he'd done in a long time. He'd actually been waiting for the bell to ring for over an hour- even though he had gone to this very school a mere year ago, and knowing the precise time that it let out, he still came early and waited. He hadnt seen Akane since they ran into each other at the mall a few days ago. Then he remembered the real reason he was here: Akane acknowledged that she owed him for saving her siblings, and she promised she would follow through. It had been 4 days since he last spoke to her, and that was long enough. He came here to whisk her away with him so she could give him some good payback! He smiled devioushly.
Then, the bell rang, loud and piercing, and throngs of students filled the entire campus. He waited and waited, but there was no sign of Akane anywhere yet. Kenji noticed that people were looking at him weird, like he didnt belong there. This was true in any event, he didnt belong there. He was a college student, and he had skipped his afternoon classes to come here. Now Akane owed him double. He couldnt help but smile thinking about it. Tonight was going to be a good night! Then, he noticed it; the flaming pink hair and outrageous outfit. Akane was heading this way, and he got ready to make his move. Once she got close enough, he stepped out in front of her. "Hey baby" he said with a cocky grin plastered on his face. He put one arm around her shoulders and led her back to his shiny black car. "Your chariot awaits..." he said bowing a bit. He didnt always intend to make scenes dramatic, it just seemed to happen for him. However, he was still glad that he got to see Akane, it was well worth the hour wait.
